Classical Civilisation is a useful ancillary course to English Literature, History, Politics, Sociology, Art and Politics as it can give you an invaluable insight into those subjects. Many of the skills and strategies used in learning Classical Civilisation can be employed in these subjects as well. A good grounding in these subjects will, of course, allow for skills and strategies developed within them to be employed in the learning of Classical Civilisation.
Classical Civilisation is an AS/A2 choice for those who wish to combine their interest in Literature and History but cannot take them as two separate AS/A2 levels.
